Spring Break packets will be posted on Teacher’s Somerset Webpages by this Friday, 3/20/20. These packets are required assignments that will be due April 3, 2020. They will count towards their 4th quarter grades.
At this time, the FLDOE (Florida Department of Education) has postponed the start of state testing by at least two weeks. We will continue to monitor the situation in the coming days as new updates are made available. State testing for FSA writing will not begin earlier than April 15th.
Families who are in need of a device for accessing online review sessions will be given an opportunity to acquire a Loaner device from school starting on Wednesday, March 18th at 8:00 a.m. This device will need to be checked out by a Parent/Guardian and a contract must be signed.
However, Zoom sessions can be accessed by any SmartPhone, Tablet, iPad, Laptop, or Desktop that has WiFi capabilities. If you do not have WiFi access, please research free WiFi options that Comcast Xfinity are offering. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.mlive.com/business/2020/03/comcast-offering-free-internet-to-low-income-homes-increased-speeds-open-wifi-hot-spots-to-all.html%3foutputType=amp
